Good times.

So when I get home in the evenings, my kids are waiting by the door as they hear the garage door go. We grab a few board games and have a blast! It doesn't get old either. I'm loving it. Sure we play Yahtzee, it's ok, but our new favorite game is called Kinder Bunnies. Grandma bought it for the kids for Christmas. If you are looking for something different, I'd fully recommend this silly game.
Then when the evening sets in and it gets dark out, we chase the chickens back into their coop, turn on their night light and say goodnight. After dinner we feed them the scraps.
Then we make popcorn, with homemade butter, it KILLS!!! Seriously, AMAZING popcorn.
My daughter made a comment last night that I was SO proud of. We were sitting at the dinner table enjoying turkey stroganoff with baked potatoes. Cassie makes the BEST stroganoff I have ever had. Then Julianne says, "Know what my favorite kind of chicken is?...... Steak!!!" Oh I about shed a tear, but instead quipped a "That's right. Mine too." What do you say to that?
Love that girl!
Love my family!
And chances are, we love your family too.

Nice post. The girls, Brenda and I just finished playing the board game "Sorry". Rachel got it for me for Christmas and it's been the big hit around here lately.

The chicken story is almost like the one about Bekah. She was about 4 years old, and at the time we had been barbecuing, baking and frying lots of chicken. Finally one night I grilled up some filet mignon. Bekah took one bite and said, "Mmmmm... this is the best chicken I ever had!"
