sunny weather

For some reason, this warm weather makes me come out of hibernation. I dread cold weather. I LOVE warm weather...hotter the better. So this little warming trend suits me fine. I know we need the rain, but it's not here, is it? Embrace the warmth.

I went for a run tonight. My body is TOAST. It made me realize I'm getting old-er. I've been going back to the gym consistently. It's time to get back in shape. I've been watching what I eat. Speeding up my metabolism. With a jump on things this early, instead of spring time, I plan to stay disciplined. Dude, I have so many eggs, it's crazy. The kids found 6 eggs today. We only have 4 chickens. Jake found a stash o' eggs under the rosemary bush.

So I have plans for this year:

-spend as much time with my family as I can.
-take Jake to a NASCAR race
-make six figures.
-get my fishing license and take my son fishing.
-take my daughter out for Jamba Juices.
These are just for starters and all I care to share. I've a lot on my mind. I've been having really profound dreams. I dreamed my cousin and his family moved back to Redding and life was good. They are after all our kids god-parents.

I saw a funny bumper sticker today: Palin in 2012...you can keep "the change"
I laughed. Oh well, what can you do.
Off to bed. Big day tomorrow.

That is so cool. Was the dream in color? Don't ask, but email me the answer.

It is now, as it always has been, up to God to gt us out there. If He wants it, he will do it. It has been a great witnessing opportunity these last couple of weeks to the other grad students looking for jobs too. They look at me and want to know why we're relaxed about the whole thing. It's really good, no matter where we ultimately end up.

Keep praying for us, that God will shine through all of our attitudes and actions in the job process.
