Let's take a chicken break and pay tribute to Steve Taylor. Not for any reason other than this is my 200th post and I didn't want it to be a random chicken drama post. Which I have pictures to post...stay tuned.
My first Steve Taylor memory was 'This disco', followed by 'on the fritz'. Eventually I bought all the cassette tapes. Because that's what we used to buy, kids, cassette tapes. Rewinding always sucked, but we had to accept it as a musical experience.
I remember camping at Lassen Park with my family. We lived in Southern California at the time. My cousin Rob and I always shared a tent. That year I brought my boom box with the detachable speakers and we listen to Steve Taylor until the batteries ran out. It was the most amazing electronic noise I ever heard.
Good Times.

GOOD TIMES! It is amazing how this music has influenced me even today - Steve Taylor was right on. The sarcasm is perfect.
I had a stereo with detachable speaker! I still have cassette tapes too! The things we hold on to when we get older. Go times!
