Summertime!

I LOVE this weather!! Triple digits make me happy! Especially since I have new water toys.
I can't wait to just lay still in the direct sun and soak up all that vitamin D next to a cool body of water. A vacation is still on the horizon, extending my summertime a little more. The anticipation of laying on the grassy hillside next to the lake of glass in Oregon as twilight sets in at 10:00 at night. That is what vacation is to me. That and good company. And fireworks on the boat dock. And Mikes Hard Lemonade, it's our drink of choice for summertime in Oregon, Caribbean Rum too.

Did I say I love this weather? It recharges me. I find joy in finding that cool spot to enjoy the heat even more.
I blame it on me being raised in the Mojave desert.
I miss the desert. But I love that THIS is home for me.
I miss San Diego. But this is home to me.
